As much as we would like everybody in the whole wide world to be a member, unfortunately this isn’t possible.
So the burning question is… are you eligible?
- If you work for the BBC as an employee or a contractor
- If you work for one of the BBC’s partners
- If you are a partner or family member of a BBC Club member
- If you are a BBC Alumni member with at least one year of continuous BBC employment
- If you have retired from the BBC

About
Spring has sprung and with it comes a host of exciting sailing adventures! The BBC Yacht Club is inviting new members to join our friendly and fun crew of sailing enthusiasts. With around 200 seasoned and novice sailors, we have plenty of fantastic trips lined up this year. If you’re interested in joining, now is the perfect time, as our sailing itinerary fills up fast. We’ll venture out of the Solent and cruise along the coast to the Isle of Wight, or perhaps even as far as Weymouth if the wind is in our favour. You’ll learn the ropes (or sheets) as an introduction to cruising and we’ll even provide wet weather gear to keep you warm.
